The Oscar Wilde Bar, formerly the iconic Grill Room, has been exquisitely restored to its authentic Louis XVI detailing. Originally established in 1865, it is now the place to enjoy Champagne, cocktails and a light menu, complemented by a further programme of live entertainment.
Nestled between the elegance of Mayfair and the creativity of Soho, this is the space where great minds came together to change the world. It is in this very room that Oscar Wilde fell in love with Lord Alfred Douglas, Aubrey Beardsley debated with Whistler, David Bowie retired Ziggy Stardust and Mick Jagger, the Beatles and Elizabeth Taylor danced the night away.
The Oscar Wilde Bar is open from 6pm Monday to Saturday and has a regular programme of live entertainment on select evenings including the flagship cabaret show.
Reservations are recommended after 9.00pm. Call +44 (0)20 7406 3310 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a reservation.
Presented by ‘Salon des Artistes’, The Black Cat Cabaret, is a decadent display within the finely gilded and mirrored splendour of the Oscar Wilde Bar. Cabaret singers, character comedians, highly-skilled performance artistes, magicians and live musicians perform a captivating show while guests enjoy a set menu accompanied by Champagne.
