Recruitment Officer

The role:

Our Recruitment Officer will be the first point of contact for recruitment and selection for every department. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, and working closely with Heads of Department and Leadership, your primary objective will be to source and identify the best candidates. Starting with identification of vacancies in line with our budgeted headcount, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle from screening and interviewing to creating and distributing employment offers. You will have a proven track record in interview techniques and be able to develop Employee Branding and attraction strategies in order to secure top quality candidates. You will also work with reputable hotel schools across the UK and Europe to attract the best student interns and graduate management trainees.

Most importantly your superior communication skills will allow you to connect and engage with managers and candidates across all levels of the business on a day to day basis, yet your integrity and discretion will be your defining quality as you will be the guardian of the hotel’s recruitment and selection strategy.

Your profile:

 

  • Proven track record in Recruitment from within hospitality, leisure or retail. In-house recruitment experience preferred but will consider recruitment consultants working within the hospitality sector.
  • Ideally some previous operational experience within hospitality, preferably from within a luxury hotel environment
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle to include advertising, CV screening and interviewing
  • Previous experience in setting up and managing an ATS highly advantageous
  • Able to contribute creative and innovative recruitment ideas, develop a strong employer value proposition and see these through to implementation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail in all areas
  • Maintains the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proven team ethic and collaborative approach
  • Able and willing to learn and to try new things
  • There will of course be other aspects to your role, including various HR and Recruitment projects that you will have the opportunity to help with.
