Taste London's newest food trend: Rainbow croissants
You know of unicorn foods and beverages; but have you heard about rainbow croissants? Our head baker Romain Tessier, who recently celebrated phenomenal success and praise for his viennoiserie creations and standout croissants on Bake Off: The Professionals, is the creator London's latest food trend, available exclusively to Hotel Café Royal at our café, Papillon, fronting Regent Street.
The pastry journey from creation to taste sensation takes a total of two days. Coloured and plain doughs are mixed and left to rest overnight, the croissants are masterfully laminated with butter, rolled out, proved and baked before being filled with indulgent housemade lime curd and decorated with meringue and colourful specked white chocolate shards.
A nod to Pride in London, the rainbow croissants are available from 5th to 15th July 2018 exclusively at Papillon.
