Taste London's newest food trend: Rainbow croissants
You know of unicorn foods and beverages; but have you heard about rainbow croissants? Our Executive Pastry Chef and Queen of Desserts Sarah Barber and her talented team of pastry chefs and bakers are the creators of London's latest food trend, available exclusively to Hotel Café Royal at our newest restaurant, Papillon.
The pastry journey from creation to taste bud-bliss takes a total of two days. Coloured and plain doughs are mixed and left to rest overnight, the croissants are masterfully laminated with butter, rolled out, proved, baked and lastly filled with indulgent housemade Amarena cherry jam.
