The Kids Corner at Hotel Café Royal is available during Easter school holidays and offers an array of toys, games and arts and crafts to keep the little ones entertained during your stay. There are also movies, video games and consoles available and a little more space to spread out and play. Upcoming Kids Corner Dates: Friday 29th March to Wednesday 10th April. Please note the Kids Corner does not offer childcare so a parent or carer will need to always accompany their children

Our family-friendly rooms and custom children’s menus have been meticulously evaluated, ensuring peace of mind for parents and caregivers. Enhancing the experience, the Tiny Traveller Programme offers specially crafted trunks, collaboratively designed with Nanny Louenna, containing essential items for parents, as well as toys, puzzles, games, and books to entertain little ones. When reserving your stay, simply include the trunk as an ‘additional offering,’ and it will be ready upon your arrival, lightening your load and alleviating packing stress.

Louenna Hood, a dedicated caregiver, supports parents and children to thrive. With 20 years of experience and training from Norland College, she has cared for over 100 children globally, including three royal families. Recently, she launched the award-winning Louenna app, known as 'a nanny in your pocket.' This app aims to make her expertise accessible to all, featuring 250 chapters on various parenting topics, such as feeding, sleep routines, potty training, language development, and travel, along with activities, recipes, and more.
Family Swimming
We are delighted to welcome junior hotel guests (age 5-16) to the swimming pool at Akasha Holistic Wellbeing, under the guidance of an adult and during the following hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 10:30am & 4:00pm to 5:30pm Saturday & Sunday 9.00am to 11:00am & 4.00pm to 6.00pm

Our interconnecting two and three bedroom family rooms and suites, with private entrance hallways offer enough space for the whole family, whilst also letting you keep a eye on the little ones. Perfect for longer breaks or if you need some extra space, the family suites feature separate living areas and dressing rooms.
