Discover the charming royal town of Windsor, just a short train ride or drive from the hustle of central London. The quintessentially British town is dominated by the iconic Windsor Castle, a residence of the British monarch for over 900 years. Explore all the castle’s grandeur, from the State Apartments adorned with opulent furnishings to the St. George’s Chapel, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. From March onwards, visitors can discover Queen Elizabeth’s life at Windsor through a group tour, learn how the castle served as a stage for some of the greatest events during her reign and why it was her late Majesty’s favourite weekend home.
