At Hotel Café Royal, the smallest guests receive the grandest welcome. Every detail is thoughtfully considered – from personalised mirror messages and cosy teepee set-ups to themed in-room arrangements tailored to your child’s interests. Bed frames can be arranged on request, and age-specific welcome treats await on arrival.

For our youngest guests up to two years old, we provide a full set of baby essentials so parents can pack light. Children aged two to twelve receive their own slippers, bathrobes, and children’s toiletries by Little B.

Our Royal Trunks – curated with age-appropriate toys, books, and activities across three age ranges – are at the heart of the family experience, each including a children’s teepee. We also offer a wide selection of complimentary toys, games, and consoles on request, including Dash, our much-loved resident dog toy.

For those who wish to explore, scooters and helmets are available from our concierge, with St James’s Park just moments from our door.

Children are always welcome at Akasha, where families can enjoy pool time together in a calm and beautiful setting. We welcome children up to 16 years old to the pool, under the guidance of an adult, during the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 10:30am & 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am – 11:00am & 4:00pm – 6:00pm

On Sunday mornings we also offer a children’s fitness class at 11:45am – a fun and energetic 45-minute session open to children aged 5 to 12, the perfect way to start the day before a relaxed family afternoon at the hotel.
