Spring at the Barbican: Celebrating Heritage, Creativity, and Global Artistic Traditions
February 25 - May 31, 2026
Looking ahead to spring, the Barbican Centre seeks to explore themes of land, lineage, and the passing down of artistic traditions. Colombian women artists and musicians draw on the rich heritage of their country, with highlights including the first UK retrospective of painter Beatriz González and a major outdoor commission by Delcy Morelos later in the season.
Elsewhere, the programme shines a spotlight on Icelandic music, celebrates craft traditions from across the globe, and presents site-specific performances, all while the Theatre undergoes renewal.
