Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends at Young V&A

Opening on 12 February 2026 at Young V&A in Bethnal Green, Inside Aardman: Wallace & Gromit and Friends celebrates 50 years of Aardman Animation. The exhibition honours the studio’s beloved characters and imaginative worlds, while revealing the craft, creativity, and storytelling behind their iconic stop-motion animations.
Designed for children and families, visitors can try their hand at different aspects of stop-motion animation. Aspiring animators will discover tips on bringing their own stories to life—from sketching storyboards and designing expressive characters to experimenting with lighting to create the perfect scene.
